Peak Physique – Membership & Subscription Policy

This policy explains how Peak Physique gym memberships and subscriptions work, including billing, cancellations, and your rights under UK consumer law.


1. Membership Overview

Peak Physique memberships are offered as recurring subscriptions and are billed automatically at the frequency shown at checkout.

By purchasing a membership, you are agreeing to:

Ongoing recurring payments | Automatic renewal unless cancelled | The terms outlined in this policy

Memberships provide access to Peak Physique facilities and services as described on the product page at the time of purchase.


2. Billing & Renewal

  • Memberships are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly).

  • Payments are processed automatically using the payment method provided at checkout.

  • Your subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.

  • Billing dates are set by the date of your original sign-up.

Peak Physique uses Shopify’s secure subscription system to manage payments and renewals.


3. Cooling-Off Period (UK Consumer Rights)

Under UK consumer law, digital services and memberships that begin immediately are not eligible for a standard 14-day cooling-off refund once access has started.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:

  • Membership access begins immediately upon purchase

  • You waive the statutory cooling-off right once access has started

This does not affect your statutory rights if a service is not provided as described.


4. Cancellations

You may cancel your membership at any time.

How cancellation works:

  • Cancellations must be made before your next billing date

  • Once cancelled, your membership will remain active until the end of the current billing period

  • No further payments will be taken after cancellation

Cancellation instructions are provided in your confirmation email or can be requested by contacting us directly.


5. Refunds

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started

  • We do not offer partial refunds for unused time, missed sessions, or changes in personal circumstances

  • Refunds may be issued only where required by law or at our discretion in exceptional cases


6. Pausing Memberships

At this time, memberships cannot be paused unless explicitly stated on the membership product page.

If pause options are introduced in the future, details will be clearly communicated.


7. Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  • Shopify may attempt to retry the payment automatically

  • Access may be suspended until payment is successfully processed

  • Peak Physique reserves the right to cancel memberships with repeated failed payments


8. Changes to Memberships or Pricing

Peak Physique reserves the right to:

Update membership pricing for new members | Make reasonable changes to services or opening times

Existing members will be notified in advance of any material changes affecting their subscription.


9. Misuse & Conduct

Memberships are for individual use only and are non-transferable.

Peak Physique reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships without refund where:

Facilities are misused | Gym rules are repeatedly breached | Behaviour endangers staff or other members
